Jump page
The page a visitor is taken to after clicking on a banner. Also known
as a landing page.
Junior skyscraper banner
Another term for a standard vertical
banner.
Keyword advertising banner
A banner ad that is displayed on a web page related to the visitor's
key word or key phrase entry. For instance, if a visitor enters the
phrases "baseball tickets" they will see a banner or series of banners
that purchased rights to that same or similar key phrase from the
web site, or publisher.
Landing page
Another term which has the same meaning as jump
page. If landing pages are identical in terms of content and how
they look, then it is best to place a robots exclusion protocol on
all landing pages.
Micro button
A very small banner, measuring only 88 pixels wide by 33 pixels tall.
Most micro buttons are too small to be effective direct
response banners.
