Site reach
The number of visitors a banner reaches on a web site compared to either
the overall visitors to the same site.
Skyscraper
A long vertical banner
ad, usually measuring at least 400 pixels tall.
Specs or Specifications
Banner specifications for display on a web site. Specs may include
file size, creative type, content restrictions, and coding restrictions.
Sponsorship
A banner that may run throughout the entire web site, and possibly
include a tag line of text underneath the banner.
Square button
A button of equal width and height dimensions. A popular square button
ad is 125 pixels in size. Also known as a square banner.

Static banner
A banner with no animation or frames. Usually a GIF or JPEG file.
SUPERSTITIAL
Type of Rich Media, term coined by the company Unicast®. A SUPERSTITIAL
is larger than a traditional size banner, and is downloaded in the background
while the user views a web page, making the banner pop us on screen
and run immediately after the visitor exits the web site or clicks on
to another web page.
